Edson Franco
CEO OF ZURICH BRAZIL
Edson has 30 years of experience in Insurance and Private Pension, and Financial Institutions. He is currently the CEO of Zurich Brazil.
During the 10 years he has been with the Zurich Group, he was also CEO of Zurich-Santander Brasil and
Latin America Regional CEO for Life.
Before joining Zurich, Edson also worked at ABN Amro Real Bank; Tokyo Marine
and Banco Santander Brazil.
Former president of ABCSI (Brazilian Association of International Insurance Companies) of
February 2019 to February 2022
– Member of the Board of Directors and of the Management Board of CNSeg (National Confederation
of the Insurers)
– Current president of Fenaprevi (National Federation of Private Pension and Life), management
2022-2025. He has already chaired the entity in the 2016-2019 management.
Edson holds a degree in Business Administration from FASP and an MBA from Fundação
Getúlio Vargas (FGV) in São Paulo.
